This Aquavit from Aalborg was first created in 1946 to celebrate the centenary of their Taffel Akvavit. Jubiläums is flavoured with dill and coriander and it won a Gold at the 2001 International Wine and Spirit Competition.

Aroma: a very citrusy nose, orange zest predominates with a touch of lime oil. Liquorice-y dill aromas with faint star anise.

Taste: slightly sweet caraway/dill and citrusy palate with warming star anise.

Aftertaste: gentle fresh coriander emerges to join dill in the lightly spiced finish.

Perfect with fish or poultry.
