A traditional Italian amaretto made by macerating crushed almonds in grape spirits. The name comes from a Venetian legend. Salizada refers to one of the first paved streets in Venice, where you can still find a red stone in the shape of a heart. When lovers touch it they will love each other for ever after.

Nose: Freshly ground almonds, toffee and orange peel.

Palate: An intense and full-bodied liqueur with a light bitterness, hints of honey and candied apricots, and great finesse.

Finish: Long, almond-tasting finish with hints of caramelised nuts.
