Biscardo Amarone della Valpolicella Classico DOCG 15.5%

Veneto, Italy

85% Corvina, 20% Corvinone, 5% Rondinella, aged for 12 months in Slavonian Tonneaux. Amarone is produced by drying the grapes out for about 120 days. The grapes are then crushed and go through a dry, low temperature fermentation process that can last up to 30/50 days. The wine is then aged in stainless steel and then barrels. Intense garnet red. A delightful bouquet, which is intense and persistent with cherry hints. Velvety, slightly bitter, with cherry and bitter almonds. Perfect with red meat, game or a cheeseboard. Suitable for vegetarians and vegans.
