70% Sangiovese, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Canaiolo, 5% Cabernet Franc, aged in Allier barrels for 12 months and at least 3 months in bottle, before release.

A shiny and rich ruby red in the glass. Cherry and plum aromas are complemented by a touch of oak. Rounded and ripe on the palate, with a lovely balanced fruit and tannin structure. There is a hint of spiced berries on the long, elegant finish.

Perfect with most pasta dishes, roasted or grilled red meats, risotto with mushrooms, white meat stew, charcuterie boards.
It can be cellared for an extra 3-4 years.
