100% Malbec

Château Vincens is family-owned and run by Philippe Vincens and sister Isabelle. This is a fantastic introduction to how Malbec tastes on home ground. There’s a touch of Merlot too, with the wine seeing a bit of oak to help give some backbone.

Chateau Vincens Cahors Origine is an almost black in colour. On the nose aromas of black plum and chocolate. The wine is powerful and very concentrated. The palate has dusty texture, fine stratum of acidity and strong flavours of wood and spices. Densely tannic as well as fruity finish.

Pairs well with strong cheese, game and veggie dishes.
