Intense ruby red in colour. Notes of ripe plums, cherry jam and tobacco characterize the bouquet of this pure varietal Primitivo from the Puglia region, complemented by noticeable hints of cocoa, vanilla and coffee due to 12 months of ageing in wooden casks. Velvety and sumptuous on the palate, with a fine spiciness, full body, a little sweetness and nicely integrated tannins. An excellent finish.
