65% Corvina, 25% Rondinella, 5% Molinara, 5% Negrara, aged for 12 months in Slavonian oak barrels and 3 months in bottle before release.
After a first fermentation in tanks, a second fermentation (lasting around 25 days) happens in February, once pomaces from the Amarone and Recioto have been crushed.
Dark red, almost impenetrable. Intense and elegant nose with aromas of ripe cherries and blueberries with a slight spiciness due to refinement in oak barrels. Very firm on the palate, soft tannins in good balance with nice acidity and hints of pulpy fruits.
