45% Pinot Noir, 45% Pinot Meunier, 10% Chardonnay, aged on lees in bottle for at least 3 years and a minimum of 3 months after disgorgement.
Gardet was established in 1895 by Charles Gardet in Chigny-Les-Roses, in the heart of the Montagne de Reims. Demi-Sec is a version of the Brut Tradition with higher dosage. Ideal for those who appreciate smooth, sweet wines, it is truly shown in its best light at dessert, where it matches fruity scents with creamy, smooth textures and mildness with the sweetness of its wine.
The aroma is winey and fruity, yellow fruits dominate (apricot, peach). The ripeness of the fruits is what gives body to the aroma. An intriguing, well-constructed scent profile. On the palate, this champagne remains true to its nature: a tender, creamy body
dominated by scents of wine, brioche, bread and dried fruits and nuts. Sweetness dominates and freshness has its place as well.
Perfect with desserts, as it matches the fruitiness of the dishes without being overly sweet.
