100% Merlot, aged for 16 months in New and Old French oak barrels

The wine has a nice nose with ripe plums, some vanilla and a little coffee. In the mouth silky soft tannins, a full body and vanilla in the aftertaste. Leafy notes prevail, masking sumptuous black fruit core. Unknit, with wild oak spiciness, yet still showing promise, intensity & smooth tannins.

Perfect with beef dishes, game pie, hard cheeses.
