100% Nebbiolo, aged in large Slavonian oak casks for up to 30 months before being left to mature in bottles.
Bright garnet red colour with variable intensity depending on the vintage. Intense perfumes of dark fruit and a touch of cloves with a savoury, herbal note. On the palate, it is full-bodied yet elegant, with plenty of robust but ripe tannins supporting the dark, dried plum and autumn compote fruit character and balancing the acidity. Long and fine, with perfumed of roses and violets on the finish.
Perfect with red meats, game, truffle based dishes, fresh egg pasta, risotti, medium-mature goat cheeses.
