A small batch of 5000 bottles was carefully blended from rums produced by several different Jamaican distilleries.

Each batch of Mezan xo is re-aged following blending, to encourage the marriage of flavours and enhance the structure and subtlety of the rum.

Clear, pale straw golden. Enticing, pungent estery nose with just-mashed overripe banana, freshly baked crispy croissants, linseed oil and tropical fruit. Light/medium bodied palate with muscovado sugar, banana crème brûlée and corn-like plastic notes (in a good way). Long burnt sugar finish with light, slightly bitter oaky tannins.
