The whisky is named after the ins who were widely known as the warrior clan of Ulster. On May 14th 1260, this warrior clan, were defeated at the Battle of Down by the mighty Normans. No less than 150 Cathain chiefs lost their lives in the battle.

Luscious bright golden colour.
The nose has a wonderful fruitiness with underlying sweet and spicy notes.
The palate demonstrates a creamy sweetness with citrus and spicy flavours coming through. We love the hints of honey and soft vanilla. A delicious finish which s dry and fragrant wooded notes.
