Ruddy Fine Lock Down Gin is very special to Rory & Cheryl, owners of Ruddy Fine Distillery. Many of the botanicals were foraged from their very own village of Ruddington and even some from their garden during the 3 national lockdowns. You can’t get more local than that! The back label has a treasure map of their lovely little village with an X marking the spot where the flavours are developed, created by amazing Ruddington artist, Katie Derry. This can be viewed through the clear centre on the front label. It had the expected Navy Strength punch but had a beautiful dry finish and buttery mouth feel that we really appreciated. It would be excellent in a variety of cocktails as well as a complex sipping gin. Perfect with Aromatic Fever-Tree, a slice of orange and some orange zest.
